Believe it or not, TeslaCon Singapore was a 100% volunteer-run event. But you’d be forgiven for thinking that this was an event officially hosted by Tesla themselves.

That is testament to the camaraderie of the Tesla owners, who all appeared to understand that they all had their individual roles to play in ensuring the smooth operation of the event. There were owners who volunteered their personal cars to provide shuttle services to and from the event venue, and we happened to hitch a ride in on a Tesla Model Y Performance.

Pasir Panjang Power Station played host to the event. This event space served as the ideal backdrop for the occasion, as it provided a stark contrast between its past, and the future of transportation.

The space was divided into four different experience zones. They were all named after Tesla cars, namely Zone S, 3, X and Y. Each zone offered up a unique experience, from modified car showcases, to various F&B offerings from the event’s sponsors and partners. There was a unified goal across all of the event’s partners though – to further the brand’s messaging on driving the world towards sustainable energy solutions.

There were panel talks as well, featuring renowned transportation experts, Tesla car owners, and industry leaders. They shared insights on Tesla’s future, innovation, AI and robotics, and also how safety and autonomy will change the future of driving EVs.

Later on in the evening, there was also a Tesla Light Show. This featured 11 Teslas, with customised dance choreography with 5 dancers by Starlight Alchemy. You can watch the Instagram Reel we’ve put together below to see the event highlights!
