HMGICS Appoints Ms. Min Ling Chan as Vice President, Head of the Technology Innovation Group


Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) has appointed Ms. Min Ling Chan as Vice President, Head of the Technology Innovation Group (TIG). In her new role, Ms. Chan will spearhead the company’s digital transformation efforts.

This includes overseeing the integration of advanced technologies to enhance data integration, automation, and intelligent systems. This includes developing a robust digital infrastructure aimed at driving efficiencies and innovation within the company.

With over two decades of experience in leading large-scale transformations across regions including Asia Pacific, Europe, and Australia, Ms. Chan brings extensive expertise in digital transformation, process optimisation, and automation.

Her previous roles include a key position at Ford Motor Company Asia Pacific in Australia, where she was responsible for managing engineering processes and improving operations across the region.

She has also led successful digital transformation initiatives at Mondelēz and championed Industry 4.0 technologies at Schaeffler, focusing on industrial automation, cybersecurity, IIoT applications, data governance, and IIoT connectivity to the cloud.

At HMGICS, Ms. Chan will work closely with Chief Innovation Officer Dr. Alpesh Patel and the talented teams at HMGICS to bring the vision of a future factory to life. Her efforts will be key in improving operational efficiency, fostering innovation, and advancing the mobility value chain.

Ms. Chan is also a passionate advocate for diversity in engineering, believing that Hyundai’s strong technological capabilities, paired with a talented workforce, are essential to the organisation’s success.
