Lamborghini Singapore has just unveiled its most powerful Urus offering ever – and yes, it has even more power than the pre-facelift Performante.
As part of its mid-cycle refresh, the Urus has gained all-new front and rear fascias, which are not strictly for cosmetic reasons only. Lamborghini says the updated car sports design features from other iconic models from Sant’Agata Bolognese, with a floating engine bonnet concept first seen in the Revuelto, and the rear mesh styling cues lifted from the Gallardo.

The changes to the front end metalwork have also re-optimised the air flow through the car, improving overall aerodynamic efficiency. Coupled with the new under-body air vents and air ducts, the changes mean a 15% increase in efficiency, and a 30% improvement in brake cooling over the pre-facelift car.
The heart of the powertrain remains relatively unchanged – you’ll still find the same 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 as in the previous cars. It has, however, been reworked to function with an electric motor that draws its electrons from a 25.9 kWh battery pack.

And the final outcome? A combined 799 hp and 800 Nm of torque. You’ll also be able to drive the Urus SE as a pure electric car. The permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor, located inside the 8-speed automatic transmission, is capable of travelling more than 60 km in EV mode.
Debuting on the Urus SE is the new centrally-located longitudinal electric torque vectoring system, which distributes driving torque variably and continuously between the front and rear axles. The transfer case works in synergy with this system, to give the vehicle “on-demand” oversteer to convey the feel of a purebred super sports car.

The new Urus SE sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 312 km/h. These figures make the SE the most powerful Urus ever and the fastest production car in the segment, setting a new benchmark in the Super SUV category!
