Mercedes-Benz brought seven different models to the 2025 iteration of the Singapore Motorshow. And one of the seven is the aforementioned E 53 AMG, which is now a Plug-In Hybrid.

The combined powertrain develops 585 hp and 740 Nm of torque, with the electric motor helping along a 3.0-litre, turbocharged straight-six engine. This means the car will complete the century sprint in just four seconds.

It is also capable of driving as a fully electric car for up to 101 kilometres. Other changes over the standard E-Class include a wider front-axle track and rear-axle steering that improves driving stability, and AMG-specific cosmetic updates. We will update our readers with pricing when Mercedes-Benz Singapore makes it available.

Another highlight model at the Motorshow is the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680. This is the first fully-electric Maybach model, marking a new era of electric mobility, adding another level of luxury and performance to the brand’s array of vehicles.

From 9-12 January 2025, visitors to the Mercedes-Benz booth will be able to experience other models in the brand’s portfolio, with offerings from fully electric to internal combustion engines, and spanning different class spectrums. Customers can also enjoy savings of up to $48,000 on these models.

The Mercedes-Benz booth is located on Level 4, Booth 4113, with the following models:

  • Mercedes-Benz CLA 180 Progressive Coupé
  • Mercedes-Benz GLA 180 Progressive
