
Vertex Automobile re-ignites its partnership with Chinese automaker Chery International.
This contract signifies the start of an innovative collaboration, which aims to contribute to the electric vehicle landscape in Singapore. And it was signed in a ceremony attended by key members of Chery, and the Vice Governor of Anhui.

The partnership involves Vertex Automobile securing exclusive distribution rights for the OMODA and Jaecoo brands. It reaffirms Chery’s commitment to advancing eco-friendly transportation solutions, and is in line with Singapore’s commitment to sustainability.
“This partnership represents a transformative moment for Singapore’s automotive industry. By joining forces with Chery International, we are poised to drive a new era of sustainable mobility in Singapore,” stated Sng Khai Hing, Executive Director at Vertex Automobile.

“We are thrilled to establish this collaboration with Vertex Automobile, a trusted name in Singapore’s automotive sector. This partnership underscores our commitment to technological innovation and environmental sustainability in the global automotive landscape,” expressed Mr Yin Tong Yue, Chairman of Chery Automobile.
Expect to see the Omoda5 EV in the first quarter of 2024. Jaecoo models will eventually join the local line-up later in the year.
