Champion Motors Singapore (CMS) celebrates 50 years of innovation, partnerships and passion for driving. First established in 1975, Champion Motors was then appointed authorised distributor of Suzuki vehicles in 1977.
Since then, they have introduced many iconic fan-favourite models, including the Swift, Vitara and the Jimny, all cars that are known for their individuality, customisability, and their senses of adventure.
Key milestones over the past five decades include the 1988 launch of the Suzuki SA310, the cult favourite Swift GTi in 1989, and the debut of the fourth-generation Jimny in 2018.
And Champion Motor’s commitment to customer service excellence and to the Suzuki brand remains unchanged even after half a century. In fact, they are heavily investing into their joint futures.
Brand New Flagship Showroom
CMS’ all-new flagship showroom and service centre, located at 7 Chang Charn Road, will officially open today (27th August 2025).
This 13,000 sqft showroom brings sales and aftersales under one roof. There will be a delivery suite, lounges and even a workshop with a viewing window. Suzuki will display up to nine cars in the new space, as their line-up continues to grow.
Creative Partnerships
To celebrate the occasion, Champion Motors Singapore has also announced partnerships with various companies to “add a fun twist”. Wiggle Wiggle, a Korean lifestyle brand, has created a Limited Edition Suzuki Jimny and launch a pop-up merchandise store at the showroom until 30 November 2025.
Creative studio 8EyedSpud will deliver striking visuals and merchandise, whilst CMS continues its sustainability drive by expanding its partnership with GetGo, supplying hybrid Suzuki models for car-sharing.
The celebrations kick off with a Family Day event on 30–31 August 2025, offering showroom tours, games, food stalls, and giveaways for Suzuki fans and car enthusiasts. CMS is also unveiling a refreshed corporate logo to mark this milestone, aligning with its parent company Inchcape’s modern branding.
Jimny, with Two Extra Doors
Visitors will also get a first look at the highly anticipated Suzuki Jimny 5-door, a rugged yet practical SUV ideal for road trips and off-road adventures. Powered by a 1.5-litre engine and ALLGRIP PRO 4WD, it combines manoeuvrability, fuel efficiency, and family-friendly space.
And in case if you are in the market for one – the Jimny 5-door will officially be launched here in Q3 2025.
