Daimler has introduced the first-ever Mercedes-Benz eActros 300 fully-electric truck in Singapore.

This is part of a move that shows the German manufacturer’s goal of a sustainable commercial transportation future. The introduction of the eActros in Singapore will offer local businesses electric trucks with impressive range, power output, fast charging capability, adaptability for daily use, and application flexibility.

Specially developed for heavy-duty short-radius distribution, the eActros stands for sustainability and, thanks to its resource-friendly nature, also serves to improve the image of transport companies, while rendering the job of truck drivers more attractive.

DCVSEA, together with authorised dealer Cycle & Carriage Industries, have partnered key industry players such as DBS Bank and TÜV SÜD for the local launch of the eActros. Meanwhile, the first owner DB Schenker shared their positive customer journey experience with the eActros.

The procurement of an electrified truck must be financially worthwhile in the daily operations of transport businesses, from usable routes to charging infrastructure. eMobility is more than just a new drive system; it is a business-oriented ecosystem.

To ensure that customers are assisted along their entire journey when it comes to EV adoption, Mercedes-Benz Trucks offers advice in the form of eConsulting, as well as the calculation and optimisation of the total cost of ownership (TCO).
