In the market for a new electric van but require a bit more space than what the existing Maxus eDeliver 3 can provide? You’ll definitely want to take a look at the latest addition to the Maxus Commercial line-up locally then.
The eDeliver 9 is the second fully electric Maxus van that Cycle and Carriage (C&C) Singapore has launched. Externally, it is significantly larger than either its smaller Maxus stablemate, or something like a Citroen e-Dispatch.

This Chinese van is a smidge longer than 5.8 metres, and is roughly 2 metres wide. It is 2.5 metres tall, with an interior cargo area ceiling height of around 1.8 metres, for a total internal capacity of 9,660 litres. Users can access this compartment through the rear barn doors, which can each be opened up to 180 degrees.

There’s no use having so much space it isn’t capable of lugging the load around. Maxus has that base covered, quoting a maximum payload figure of about one tonne. The cabin is equally usable, with well-organised controls and a wide field-of-view, supplemented by active safety features such as Blind Spot Assistance and Auto Emergency Brake.

This 3.5 tonne behemoth is powered by an electric motor with 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque. It draws its amperage from a 72kWh battery, that can be DC fast charged at up to 72kW. AC charging can be done at 11kW.
At 72kW, you’d be able to go from 20 – 80% in just 36 minutes. Maxus says their customers will be able to cover 288 kilometres on a single charge, though expect real-world figures to vary. C&C is also offering commercial customers conversion services, so each eDeliver 9 can be tailored to suit their business needs.
The base van will set you back $93,999, but this prices excludes COE and CVES grant.
