NETA’s official distributor, Evology Automobile, has unveiled its first two cars for sale in Singapore. They are the NETA X and the NETA AYA, which are developed by one of China’s leading EV manufacturers, Hozon New Energy Automobile.

Let’s start with the NETA X. It is a crossover, named after spirit of eXploration, eXperience, and eXport. Compared to its competitors, the X actually has more cabin space, a result of its longer wheelbase.
At the heart of the NETA X is a CATL battery that supports both DC and AC charging, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature and a Category A compliant 100 kW motor. This means a 410 km WLTP range, which becomes 524 km when driven in the city.
The NETA AYA has been “crafted for the urban explorer“. Like the X, there’s also a meaning to its name – it is an acronym for Active, Young, Amazing. Unlike the X however, this isn’t a crossover.
It is essentially a compact hatchback, which packs a 70 kW motor and a 40.9 kWh battery. This means a WLTP range of 338 kilometres.
