The BMW Group brands have assembled a fairly impressive line-up of new launches for the 2025 Singapore Motorshow. Four new models were unveiled, with three of them being BMWs, and the one other car being the MINI Cabrio.

The launch of three new models includes the BMW 530i Signature, the all-new BMW 1 Series (CAT A COE hatchback), and the Singapore Motorshow premiere of the all-new BMW X3.

Powering the new 1 Series is a three-cylinder petrol engine has a maximum power output of 122 hp and is combined with the latest version of the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission Steptronic as standard. Power is transmitted to the road via the front wheels, and the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds.

The all-new BMW X3 features an all-new design language, which BMW claims enhances exterior presence and an aura of dynamic grace. A wide array of powertrain options are available, starting with a 208 hp 2.0-litre petrol in the 20 xDrive, to the 398 hp six-cylinder in the M50 xDrive.

The final debutant isn’t an all-new car, but an addition to an existing model. Previously, you could only have your current generation 5 Series as either a 520i, or as an i5. There’s now a variant that sits in between the two, in the form of the 530i. It has 258 hp, which is good enough for a 0 – 100km/h time of just 6.2 seconds.

And on the MINI side, the German-owned, British marque previewed its latest addition to the new MINI range – the all-new MINI Cabrio. It will only be available as a combustion model, and features taillights with the same shape as the F57, but with a similar internal LED design as its J01 and F66 cousins.

No word yet on pricing, or on the variants the Cabrio will come in, but the car on the Motorshow stand is a Cooper S. It is safe to say that a base Cooper C and a JCW model will eventually join the line-up, but at a later date.
