Authorised Nissan dealer Tan Chong Motor has officially unveiled the latest Nissan Serena generation in Singapore.
It replaces the outgoing car, which was originally launched globally back in 2016. No official pricing has been announced just yet, but this is a car that those seeking seven-seater practicality should seriously shortlist.
New seats, designed to minimise occupant movement, have been included in this all-new model. Also new for this generation is revised aerodynamics that aid in high speed stability. This then also has a knock-on effect of improving the MPV’s aerodynamics.

As with the car it replaces, the Serena comes with an e-POWER drivetrain. In a nutshell, these vehicles use the onboard petrol engine as a generator, producing electricity that is then used by the electric motors to drive the wheels.
The HR14DDe engine, which has been specially developed for use as a generator, is quieter and more refined than previous engines. It creates the charge needed for the 161 hp traction motor for propulsion!
