MG and Eurokars EV launched three cars at the 2024 Singapore Motorshow! Of the trio, one is an all-new car that customers will soon be able to order, and another being a roadster that is about a year away. The final car is a Category A version of an existing model.
These launches coincides with the 100th anniversary of the MG brand. The Cyberster is a two door roadster that pays a clear homage to the British marque’s sports car heritage. And it does so whilst embracing the future with its electric drivetrain.

It comes with electric scissor doors, which serve more than just an aesthetic purpose – it makes ingress and egress much simpler. No official word on powertrain specifications for the Singapore market just yet, as the final car is still about one year away from reaching the showroom floor.

The MG M9 is a luxury-oriented MPV. It comes with an onboard 220V power outlet, so owners are able to use the rear cabin space to do some actual on-the-go work. Rear seat passengers also get to enjoy a pair of captain’s chairs, which have massage and ventilation functionality.
Powering the M9 is a front-mounted electric motor that puts out 180kW and 350Nm. It has a 90 kWh battery pack, with up to 435 kilometres of range. Prices start at $165,888 for the base trophy model, with the range topper costing $185,888. Note that these prices exclude the cost of COE
New Category A Variant of the MG4
To also capture a larger market share in the hotly-contested mass market EV space, MG has also introduced a Category A COE version of the MG4 EV.

It retains the same mechanical gubbins as the car that was launched back in 2022, but has a detuned electric motor to meet the Category A COE cut-off. No official word on pricing just yet, but expect this to cost at least $10,000 – 15,000 less than the current Cat B car!
