A second XPENG model has officially joined the G6 for sale in Singapore. And its launch at the Singapore Motorshow 2025 is special not only because it is the first time an RHD X9 has been unveiled in Singapore, but because it is the very first RHD variant to be showcased globally.

Unlike the G6, which happens to be a crossover, the X9 is an ultra-smart, seven-seater luxury MPV. It sits atop the brand’s cutting-edge SEPA2.0 platform with 800V architecture, and will come with a choice of two battery options – an 84.5 kWh pack, and a larger 101.15 kWh unit.

The former will return up to 480 kilometres on a single charge, with the latter doing up to 575 kilometres. Equally notable is its charging performance – the X9 will accept DC fast charges at up to 330 kW, filling its pack up from 10 – 80% in about 20 minutes.

Capable of reaching a maximum speed of 200 km/h, both XPENG X9 Standard and Long-Range variants generate 235kW of peak power and 450Nm of torque, and boasts a respectable 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of 7.7 seconds.
