Tesla Singapore gave members of the media an exclusive preview of the exciting Cybertruck. And the featured example wasn’t just any ordinary Cybertruck – it is a Cyberbeast Foundation Series!

What does that mean? Three electric motors – two at the back and one at the front. The Foundation Series label also means this Cybertruck is a launch edition special, further adding to its exclusivity.

If you’re curious, these are the full statistics for the triple motor, all-wheel drive Cyberbeast: 845 horsepower, 1396 Nm of torque, 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, 209 km/h top speed, and weighs 3,104 kilograms.

The wheels measure 20 inches in diameter, with an aggressively treaded 285/65/20 off-road tyre mounted on it. At almost 90 centimetres tall, it is at hip level for most people. Then again, when you have that much power and a setting called “Baja” for running through the desert, you need rubber like that.

Boot space, or cargo space, is 3,423 litres in the back, and 400 litres in the front. Yup, the Cybertruck has a “frunk” that is as big as those on some smaller cars. Load the rear bed with 1,030 kg of items, or tow up to 4,990 kg. Don’t expect to hit the claimed range of 515 kilometres if towing a trailer, though.

Dimensions wise, it comes in at 5,683 mm long, 1,900 mm tall and 2,143 mm wide. For reference, the Ford Ranger (which is already quite large) is 5,370 mm long. The Cybertruck is 313 mm longer. It’s a good thing that it has rear-wheel steering, cutting down the turning radius to 12.2 metres, similar to those of German luxobarges.

The battery has 123 kWh of capacity, with 120 kWh usable. Featuring 800V architecture, it can charge at speeds up to 350 kW using Tesla’s Superchargers. For context, charging from 0 to 80% can be realised in a little as 40 minutes.

To celebrate the local unveiling of the Cybertruck, Tesla Singapore will be offering test drives of the Model 3 and Model Y, so as to allow the public to experience the performance and features of a Tesla for themselves.

The upcoming local unveiling aims to serve as a platform to educate the public about electric vehicles, accelerate the transition towards sustainable energy and how Tesla is driving change. A public viewing event will be announced soon, so stay tuned to this space, and we will update it once we get details!

Do also note that the specifications stated here are only applicable to North America.

And if you’re still wondering, is the Cybertruck road legal in Singapore? No, it isn’t, as it is only produced in left-hand drive and sold only in North America. There are no plans for it to be produced in right-hand drive for now, but who knows, there’s always a possibility.
