Carro is expanding its push into brand-new vehicles, announcing that it is now an authorised dealer for Dongfeng Motor Corporation in both Singapore and Malaysia!
Its Singapore showroom is located in Sin Ming, which is quite a distance away from the Leng Kee car belt, but this was a strategic move to pass cost savings on to its consumers.
The partnership, formed together with Volt Auto, will see Carro retail several Dongfeng models including the Dongfeng VIGO, Dongfeng 007 and Dongfeng BOX. Vehicles sold through Carro will come with authorised dealer warranties, alongside the company’s in-house financing and insurance solutions aimed at simplifying the ownership journey.
According to Carro, the partnership reflects growing demand for hybrid and electric vehicles across the region. The company says its experience with EV inspections, servicing and maintenance will support Dongfeng customers as it builds out a broader retail presence.
Volt Auto also sees the collaboration as a way to scale Dongfeng’s presence in the region, leveraging Carro’s regional marketplace, customer data and trade-in ecosystem to improve purchase and ownership experiences!
