The latest iteration of Mercedes’ compact saloon has just made its local debut at this year’s Singapore Motorshow.
It promises to be the German marque’s most intelligent model yet, and with it, also debuts the brand’s proprietary Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS).

At launch, buyers have two powertrain options available – you can have it either as a fully-electric car (CLA 250+), or a mild-hybrid (CLA 200 AMG Line).
The former comes with a WLTP range of up to 808km, and is built on an 800-volt architecture. This means support for ultra-fast DC charging of up to 320kW, adding up to 325km of range in just 10 minutes. Power comes from a rear-mounted 200kW electric motor paired with an 85.5kWh battery.

The latter packs a 1.5-litre inline-four cylinder turbocharged engine paited with a 48-voly mild-hybrid system that develops 163 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Unlike its electric twin, the ICE CLA is front-wheel drive, with an estimated combined fuel consumption of 5.3 L/100 km.
At present, local pricing starts from S$312,888 for the CLA 250+ electric AMG Line Sport and S$304,888 for the CLA 200 AMG Line. A Category A variant is expected in Q1 2026, with indicative pricing from S$261,888, subject to LTA approval and prevailing COE prices.
We have not driven the new CLA just yet. But here‘s another Coupe Mercedes that you may want to read up on!
