Hyundai has introduced the IONIQ 9 in Singapore, its first full-sized, luxury all-electric SUV and the new flagship of the IONIQ range, marking 10 years of Hyundai’s electric vehicle journey.

The seven-seater, built on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform, is aimed at multi-generational families seeking space, comfort and long-range electric mobility.

It features a 110.3 kWh battery that offers up to 620 km of range and supports DC 350 kW fast charging. This means you’d go from 10 – 80% in just 24 minutes. The SUV emphasises interior space with a lounge-like cabin, three-row seating, a sliding Universal Island 2.0 console and relaxation seats.

Styling is defined by Hyundai’s ‘aerosthetic’ design and boat-tail rear for improved efficiency, while technology highlights include Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability and a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems.

The IONIQ 9 will be showcased at the Singapore Motorshow from 8 to 11 January 2026, positioning Hyundai as a key contender in the large electric SUV segment and reinforcing its “Master of Space” branding.
