Multi-brand authorised dealer Cycle and Carriage has unveiled three new electric vehicles across its ORA, Kia and Citroen brands.

The Chinese automaker adds a liftback to its local line-up. The car, which has been dubbed the 07 for the Singapore market, has also been sold as the Lighting Cat in select regions. Final technical specifications for local units have not yet been confirmed.

Thai-delivered cars come in two specifications. The entry-level 07 is front-wheel drive, develops 204 hp and has 640 kilometres of range. The higher spec variant has double the power, all-wheel drive, though range does take a hit, coming in at 550 kilometres.

As for the Koreans, Kia showcased its latest EV9 flagship electric SUV. This six-seater car comes with a pair of captain’s chairs in the second row. It also has a striking, retro-futuristic, concept-car-esque exterior design.

You’ll find two electric motors underneath the minimalist skin of this vehicle, which produce a combined 380 bhp and 700 Nm. It is not only rapid, but surprisingly efficient, being able to clock 512 klometres on a single charge.

Finally, C&C’s French brand has released a liftback version of their e-C4 electric crossover. Visually up till the B pillar, the cars are identical. However, extensive revisions have been made to the rear metalwork of the e-C4.

This translates into a longer overall length. But there are actual, tangible benefits here too. WIth more metalwork, you’d be able to lug more cargo around, going from the 380 litresof the regular car, to the 510 litres of the e-C4 X.
