Mercedes-Benz’s Motorshow lineup features an all-electrified fleet. It was also the local debut of the updated GLB, the latest four pot C63 and the showcase of the electric G wagon concept!
These cars were displayed alongside the German marques already-launched all-electric EQ offerings. The GLB has been refreshed for the 2024 model year. Revisions have been made to its front end, and it now sports a new front grille and bumper.

Round the back, the most obvious change is to the taillight, the updated car now having a pair of horizontal elements. The cabin survives relatively untouched, with the exception of the newer steering wheel.
No More V8
With ever tightening global emissions, Mercedes had to replace their signature AMG V8 in their C63, with a heavily turbocharged four pot. Mind you, even as a turbo four banger, this new car is still no slouch.

It borrows technology from Mercedes’ Formula One division, with its PHEV technology assisting its heavily boosted engine to develop 680hp and 1020Nm.
Concept EQG
Even the automotive icons are not spared from the drive of electrification. A production version, previewed simultaneously at CES, shows us just how an electric G class would look like.

The Concept EQG featured at the Singapore Motorshow is obviously an earlier rendition of the idea, with wilder concept car styling up front, and with the square external storage box mounted to the rear tailgate.
The refreshed GLB and C63 should already be available for customer orders. An electric G wagon will join global Mercedes lineups later in the year!
Prices of the aforementioned models are as follows:
Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE – $617,888
Mercedes-Benz GLB – From $237,888
Prices are accurate as of 11 January 2024, and are subject to change based on prevailing COE.
